louis vuitton spring 2013

i was looking through some old magazines today (so i could cut out some pictures for some zines i'm making) and in my instyle from march 2013 i noticed an ad for louis vuitton and it was sooooooo gr8. it was like a mod theme and everything is checkered and yellow and white and the model hair is sooo unbelievably gr8. i went to the vogue website and looked it up so that i could look through the slideshow and i'll just put a few of my favorite looks. i know you guys don't care (lol what "guys" no one reads this) but i do and this is my blog so ha.

i was surprised to see cara delevinge. this was before she was super famous so it was just kind of cool idk.

also i did go to the mall today but i wasn't able to buy everything i wanted (my mom did not approve of the "half shirt" i wanted) i did however get some makeup (highlighter, foundation, blush, and some colored mascara which i'm very excited about) from ulta and a choker from forever 21.(below) it's actually a rlly nice choker so i'm happy about that. i got a cactus from ikea as well, so it was a pretty successful shopping trip.

lol so i was totally right about forgetting about this but at least it was only like a month or something, plus i was at camp without internet for two weeks so i wouldn't have been able to post anyway.
note: while i was at camp, everyone in my cabin talked about how much they loved my style so that was pretty cool
anyway i went to kohl's (aka the promised land) a few days ago and bought some pretty cool stuff.
there was a whole section with flared jeans and i was so angry because i'm still too short for the 33" inseam. I WANT MY GROWTH SPURT AGH. but i have a too long pair already that i got off the clearance rack for $4.80 (!) at my last kohl's visit so i guess when i finally grow like maybe two inches ?? (i'm 5'3) they will fit. i hope.
i went to go look at the graphic tees firt because sometimes they have some ok ones and they had a really cute one that said "good vibes" with a rainbow. (figure a) it was a size L (i'm an XS/S) and there was only one left, so i bought it annyway. i wore it today tucked into a pair of high waisted shorts with buttons on the side. i almost bought a powerpuff girls shirt as well, but i decided against it at the last minute, because it was $7 and i'm not made of money, since i'm only in eighth grade and a shopaholic in the making.

i was looking for a good flannel because i have been watching a lot of My So-Called Life lately and i LOVE it and i also LOVE all ofthe gr8 nineties looks, most of which involve flannels. i found a really nice red one that i think will be very versatile and i can't wait for fall so i can try wearing it without overheating. the last thing i bought was kind of an impulse buy because i was searching the clearance rack and i looked up at the stuff next to the clearance rack (not clearance) and saw what could possible be the most beautiful shirt ever. it was a really nice light pink color and it was basically a t-shirt but it had kind of a tulle lining that hung out at the bottom.(figure c) it's sooo nice. i love it. it's part of the cloud chaser brand thing which is super nice looking so i will probably get more of that from my next kohl's visit.

that's all i bought, but i am headed to the mall tomorrow and also to ulta beauty so we'll see what happens.

hi! my name is lucy (ycul is lucy backwards i'm really creative, i know) and this is my blog. probably no one except for me will ever read this and i'll find this like seven years from now with like two posts after forgetting about it and cringe a lot but why not, you know? so this blog will mostly be about outfits and stuff despite how unfashionable and out of touch i am with the youth. (just kidding i am a youth) but i try my best. it will probably just be pictures of my outfits and like makeup reviews and stuff. also, be prepared for lots of lowercase letters, no punctuation, and abbreviations. so yeah, to the -7 ppl reading this, this is real, this is me, this is where i'm supposed to be (sorry i was watching camp rock like two seconds ago) ok that's it for now
